FAQs

How long does a vinyl pool liner last?

Vinyl pool liners will typically last between 5-9 years but, with proper care, could last 15 years or more.

How can I tell if my liner needs to be replaced?

Here are some common signs that your pool is in need of a new liner.

  • Fading or Discoloration (caused by UV exposure of chemicals)

  • Crack, Tears, or Pinholes (leading to water loss)

  • Wrinkles (caused by improper water chemistry, water loss from pinholes in liner, or ground water)

  • Liner coming out of the coping track (caused the liner to stretch out and is a sign that coping may need to be replaced)

Is the process invasive and damaging to my yard?

Not at all! We don't need any large equipment or large access areas to replace a pool liner.

How long does the process take?

While the liner replacement itself only takes a few hours, the total process requires a bit more time. Your pool will need to be drained in the days leading up to the replacement, and the refilling process must be completed afterward. We recommend planning for a total of 3-5 days of downtime from start to finish.
